Professor Brad Nelson at the Institue of Robotics and Intelligent Systems operates an Octomag - an instrument whose eight electromagnetic coils permit maneuvering micro-robots through the eye to deliver drugs to the retina.

Christophe Schneble

Christophe Schneble is the Coordinator for the Department of Earth Sciences, ETH Zurich

Christophe Schneble studied geography at the University of Zurich. He then went on to complete the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Computer Science at ETH.  After his studies, he spent 3 years as a software engineer at the i-engineers AG developing Enterprise Content Management Systems. He also worked as a scientist at the University of Applied Science in Rapperswil before joining ETH Zurich in 2010.

Schneble is a member of the Personnel Commission (PEKO) which represents the administrative and technical personnel of ETH Zurich. He is also the coordinator for the Department of Earth Sciences at ETH Zurich. In his role, he supports the Head of Department in his management duties.
