Major donation from Branco Weiss
In his will, Dr. Branco Weiss has increased a donation to Society in Science – The Branco Weiss Fellowship that he made during his lifetime. The bequest, estimated to be around 100 million Swiss francs, will ensure that the fellowship can continue and expand. Branco Weiss founded the fellowship ten years ago. In 2010, the last year of his life, he transferred it entirely to ETH Zurich, with which he was associated throughout his life.
